What could be more fun than a belly dancer at your party? Having experience in every setting from formal Egyptian weddings to summer barbecues, Alimah is sure to get everybody up and dancing by the end of the evening. Though her dance style has won her national competitions, it is her engaging smile and sassy pizzazz that keep audiences smiling all evening long.
For every event, Alimah’s dancing will amaze you with her exotic costuming and the rhythms of her intricate zills (middle eastern finger cymbals). You may also choose to have her perform with some of the following traditional props: veil, sword, cane, candle tray, or shamadan (used mainly in middle eastern weddings). While each event is individually tailored to the desires of the host, the following categories will help you decide on the show that is best for your party.
Bellygram: a 15 minute performance that is perfect for small parties, when you just need somebody to set the mood and make your soiree unforgettable. You may choose to have a sword or veil dance included, or have the guest of honor get up and dance with the bellydancer! $150
Belly Celebration: a 25 minute show that fully indulges yourself and your guests in an evening of middle eastern dance. This is a performance that is most similar to what you might see at a restaurant. You may choose to have as many as three props, and of course, expect to have a guests up to dance at the end. $165
Belly Extravaganza: So, you want it all- an evening of swirling veils, props, and even costume changes. The evening will likely end with everybody getting up and dancing as Alimah leads the group through a variety of delightful Nubian line dances. This is an hour of entertainment that will truly transport you to an entirely different world. $200
Belly Lesson and Performance: Alimah will arrive with a basket of hip scarves and teach a 30 minute group lesson that will have everyone shimmying and shaking by the end. A 20 minute show will follow. $180
